Welcome to my Website
Hi there… Welcome to my website Better Mind Body Health Happiness.
I’m passionate about spiritual and personal development, so am creating a health, happiness, psychology & personal development section to explore these areas in more detail.
I’m also really passionate about solutions for development, so created this website to highlight ways that environmental, climate change and economic problems can move forward.
Because some of these areas are so complex, especially the environmental sciences, I want to add e.g. 15 small parts or changes per week, as well as articles to the other areas.
I also think the best way to explore this site is to find 4 random points on the page and to read around those.
I hope you like my website, and I hope you find several useful personal development and world help pieces each time you visit.

The Best Idea… Read This:
Fast & Useful Mental Solution Stimulators
Do you know what the best idea ever is, that should be rolled out to absolutely everything? When you go to some supermarkets, have you ever experienced self-service checkouts that had a step at the end of the checkout process where you could donate e.g. $1, $2 or $4 to a choice of several charities?
So if you have 200 shoppers in 1 day who each made a $2 donation (because it’s so, so easy, and if the pictures and descriptions are good, it’s satisfying for shoppers too), the supermarket raises $400 in donations in just 1 day, or $2800 in just one week. How good is this?… And if supermarkets or shops choose 4 most needed or neglected charities that customers can choose from per week, this is even more fantastic.
And it’s so easy to do… You don’t need to take out your wallet, and your checkout already says e.g. $87, so what is $4 or $2- more? It’s so, so easy to donate $2… And if you can choose between 4 charities, it’s satisfying and interesting too.
If you were a supermarket or business, what 4 charities would you choose this month if you were to do this? I would have 16 charities per month with a focus on neglected or most needed charities, and rotate 4 around each week. And to have a really good 4 or 5 sales sentences for each neglected, urgent or most needed charity.
There are so many charities, but right now I would choose the World Refugee Fund, the Red Cross for the floods, a charity for Humanitarian Crises and a Research Fund.
However, I get the feeling that this would only succeed if it was via self serve checkouts… Am I wrong? For example, when a cashier asks me for $2, I feel pressured, but when it’s my choice, if you’ve already spent $87, what is $2? It’s so easy.
An Introduction to Goals and Methods for the Sustainable Development Goals and 100 World Economic Priorities
Fast & Useful Mental Solution Stimulators - Two hours per week
A lot of people think of the 100 most important world economic goals, as a hard to understand area, but it’s really just made up of lots of interconnected insights.
While methods to do with economic development NEED to be evaluated by a lot of experts before being rolled out on a large scale, the wider field of economic anthropology is made up of various things that people have noticed that support the 100 world economic priorities.
While it is true that I also have a background in technical economics, here are some of the building blocks I have noticed around the 100 most important world economic goals- i.e. building blocks via anthropological economics, or things that you notice that help to solution stimulate economic priorities (while at the same time making sure that they get evaluated BEFORE implementation).
For example, We know that we have 8 billion people… We know that each person’s spending is another person’s income... It would be so good to support everyone get closer to Level 10/10 happiness from their career rather than a Level 1/10 happiness. Therefore, how do we figure out which new and established industries have the best economic, environmental and social effects for our overall societies?
People are still following large parts of the plan in Adam Smith- the father of modern capitalism’s- books. Therefore, how do we write a new manifesto of what industries and spending types support the 8 billion the best?
Therefore, if you have the income, time and energy to spend in a socially good way once a month, or once a week, or once a fortnight, you know where best to do this. Let’s explore this below:
1. Recyclables vs Single-Use Plastics
Continuing with the 10,000 steps theme, and depending on your time and income, here are some alternatives to single use plastics:
Plastic plates: Biodegradable Plates (greenpaperproducts.com)
Plastic cups: Biodegradable Cups
Plastic cutlery: Biodegradable Cutlery
Coffee cups: KeepCup Reusable Cups
Drinking straws: Restaurant Supplies
Takeaway containers: Take Out Containers
Some of these are sold in bulk only, but there is real potential here to buy in bulk and sell in smaller amounts at marked up prices- if- if- if- it is legally arranged with the company first (e.g. your own packaging around it).
2. Polystyrene Cups
Did you know that the world consumes enough disposable polystyrene foam cups to go around the Earth >>>1,360 times- per year? Unfortunately, these polystyrene foam cups aren’t collected by the majority of council recycling services and often up directly in landfills. Therefore, a really easy way to help out is to buy a reusable version of these cups.
One brand that is both compostible & made from fully renewable materials is Ecotainer.
They currently sell in bulk, but- if it is legally arranged with Ecotainer first- there could be potential to onsell in much smaller quantities for a marked up profit:
Ecotainer® Cups | Hot & Cold Cups by Ecotainer® | Made in USA (greenpaperproducts.com)
Climate Change
One way to make the climate change and environmental areas much easier to approach is the 1 or 2 hours per week plus 1 to 10 topics unblockers method. There are 8 billion people, 195 governments and countless organisations, who are all supposed to learn climate change and environmental habits. Therefore, if you advocate for all 8 billion people to do 1 hour+ per week (or 10 or 15 minutes for people who don’t care about climate change) on
climate change research and %s of solutions for their industry and an industry of choice,
for their own and surrounding people’s change solutions,
on climate change solution stimulators for big picture stuck areas (e.g. costs of rollouts),
the world might actually be able to solve climate change & environmental priorities like food security, resource sustainability, air pollution, animal rights.
Gift Cards
When you have to buy a present for someone who is really hard to buy for, have you considered buying them 3 or 4 smaller things, and making one of these a Non-Profit Organisation card or something meaningful (to them) from a Non-Profit Organisation? For example, you could buy them sweets, a card or a donation with a special meaning to a charity, and two other small things that look good or have a personal meaning. If you like the idea of NGO gift cards or gifts, have a look at these ones:

My Personal Blog
Fast & Useful Mental Solution Stimulators
I’m currently building up this website, which is a mixture of exciting and exhilarating, and uncertain and stressful.
For some reason, I find writing about some things really straightforward (the focus is more on how to create and explain the most effective ideas), and writing about other things really hard.
It could be because when you read hundreds of other peoples posts, you set the bar really high, unless it’s in your area of specialisation.
It’s probably practice.
What should I write in this personal blog?
I’ve been trying to cope with the Ukraine crisis for some time. It’s interesting how some things you can set boundaries with and other things it is intensely hard to set boundaries with (unless you completely dissociate).
I feel like all sides aren’t serious enough about pursuing a peace deal faster.
Someone wrote about Operation Desert Storm (which I had no idea what this was before that), and I wonder what the point of the fighting is if it will lead to further sanctions or something like the above.
It surprised me a lot, because 99% of the time I handle development situations quite well, but with this one, I feel like I am biologically both sides (and also feel like the cultural problems I was avoiding for decades keep hitting me and even popularising). After reacting emotionally several times, I felt like I couldn’t handle it and stepped back to let other people in the area deal with it.
If you can’t be your best self, your good self, or your good enough self, it is best to step back from the situation and let people who can cope deal with it.
